Paramount FM 94.5, Abeokuta, Ogun State, from the stable of Radio Nigeria was
commissioned by the former President of  Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on the 25th of July, 2003.

The station with the slogan “Our Integrity is Paramount” is a grassroot broadcast outfit owned by the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.  It is one of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria’s new thirty-two FM stations established across the country.

Paramount FM operates a twenty-four hour service everyday and covers about four states of the federation, including some neighbouring West African countries (Republics of Benin and Togo).

Elder Dada Ogundele is the pioneer and incumbent General Manager of the Station with the assistance of three Controllers of News, Programmes and Marketing Departments, Head of Engineering Department as well as other thirty senior and junior members of staff.

Apart from the substantive staff, independent presenters and producers complement the daily broadcast of the station.
